New Look - Atlanta Newborn Photographer, Merav Schwartz

A number of you have mentioned that things are looking different on my journal and on my website.  Don’t adjust your screen, folks - I have indeed made changes.  I have a new logo, new color scheme, and a new look to my journal photographs.  I think this new ‘branding’ really embodies the modern, simple, stylish  look I strive for in every photosession.

My eldest daughter also has a new look - thanks to her fabulous new glasses. We think she looks wonderful and so grown-up.

New Milestone - Atlanta Newborn Photographer, Merav Schwartz

Well, it is official….. I no longer have any babies.  This weekend my youngest turned three.  Here she is modeling her reward for potty-training, her ‘Cinderella-getting-married-dress’.  Happy Birthday Sweetie!

Look who is growing up!

This is my youngest - hard to believe she is closing in on three years old.  She looks pretty graceful here, doesn’t she?  You should have seen what she looked like last night as she collided with the underside of the fridge door… yup, she is all mine :-)

My sweet Anna -

God, I love this kid/walking Gap ad!  She just keeps getting more delicious - she agreed to a quick session as long as she could still make to grocery list while I was shooting.

My eldest

I am so proud of my almost four year old who is beautiful inside and out and finally let me take a portrait that reflects her true self.  This one is going to be printed LARGE!!!

Merav’s Musing - May 2008

Hi - and thanks for visiting my blog. I thought that it would be nice for you to be able to share a sneak peak with your friends and family, get information about products and any seasonal specials, and get a glimpse into my life.

Summer 2008 is just about to start and I am so excited - my girls will both be at camp for the first time - day camp, well, half-day camp - but they are getting there. I hope that the girls love camp as much as I did - I often think of those great summers at sleep-away camp. I grew up, as many of you know, in Montreal, and most of the kids there go to sleep-away camp for 8 weeks. Eight glorious weeks of water-skiing, sailing, swimming, arts & crafts, drama, cruddy food and bug juice, mosquitoes and black flies, canoe trips, the tuck store, friendships, nuttiness, and general mayhem. I could hardly wait until school was over and I got to sit on the bus for that CRAZY long trip - so excited to find out which cabin I would be in, who my bunk-mates would be, who the staff was, etc. I really loved those 2 months and hope that, if my girls are not as enthusiastic about camp as I was/am, that they will find something that they love just as much. Ahh - summer is coming!!!

I will not be working as much this summer - I will only be taking a client or two week. Please be sure to call for an appointment as soon as possible so that we can work something out. As always, maternity and newborns are not counted - I will always make room in my schedule for these two types of sessions!

I’ve got a shiny new blog!

Welcome to my new blog!  This blog should be easier to navigate.  I hope that you will find it easier to add comments to your favorite portraits and I am also told that the sneak peeks will look better and bigger!!!

Watch for new information to be added soon - sections on available products, what to wear, and my policies - along with new sneak peeks from recent sessions and the old blog posts (which will be transferred).

First up … Miss A and her latest obsessions - sparkly shoes and her sister’s Dinoco McQueen!
